FPI Advisory Services, headquartered in Switzerland, provides comprehensive advisory services in Finance, Public Private Partnerships, ESG and Infrastructure for private clients, asset managers, governments, investors and/or developers

Consulting in Finance and Public-Private Structures

Assisting governments, DFIs, project sponsors, developers and asset managers to develop long-term investment strategies, advising on optimal use of private sector expertise and finance, PPP structures including commercial and financial structuring as well as developing optimal go to market strategies.

Advise in structuring financial solutions for infrastructure

For private sector developers and investors, we assess the macro and geo-political risk issues, support credit assessments through bottom-up evaluation of the fundamental characteristics of an underlying asset together with any industry-specific political, macroeconomic or technical variables that may impact project cash flows. We help develop credit enhancements and wrappers through the use of backstop facilities, DFI supported guarantees and other structured finance approaches.

For governments, we advise on optimal financial structures for infrastructure development that are market based, scalable and sustainable. We help develop and tailor fiscally sustainable financing schemes through (a) fiscal assessments detailing implications of PPPs, and (b) practical solutions that optimize government resources by leverage external resources, government’s own balance sheet and securing other revenues.

Deal and Finance Sourcing

FPI Advisory uses a proprietary process to identify, review and select investments, linking project sponsors, Development Finance Institutions (if applicable), asset managers and institutional investors to investment opportunities.

We help raise debt and/or equity investments, as well as engage in balance sheet optimizations through refinancing of existing project loans or on-lending.

Develop ESG compliant infra opportunities

We help source, identify and develop Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliant projects. At the core of our approach is the recognition of ESG standards, which we see as a central factor in achieving, measuring and maintaining sustainable societal impacts of any investment in which we are involved with. We assist our clients in identifying such investment opportunities ensuring compatibility between ESG and the future financial performance of investments made, achieving the perfect balance between risk and returns.

We can help access capital markets, in particular catalytic capital for governments and sponsors, while at the same time helping development financing institutions, sovereign governments and investors (including impact investors) achieve outcomes consistent with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Support for Impact Investing

We are advocates of impact investments and are able to, through our extensive network with development institutions, foundations and other impact investors, source and secure opportunities focusing on products and services that can generate measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside financial returns.

We help identify impact companies that provide solutions, products, and services that help the world achieve its sustainability goals. We help invest in companies producing products and services based on the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) in water, food security, health and wellbeing, education, financial inclusion, future mobility, circular economy, energy transition, and impact enablers.

Infrastructure Finance Training

We develop, only on request and in a bespoke manner, learning solutions that not only deliver the content but produce measurable results.

Given our practical and hands-on experience we are regularly asked by clients to develop specific, highly customized curriculums to specifically address training and development needs. We combine a keen knowledge of infrastructure finance, ESG, PPPs, regulation,  law, contract execution, asset management and private equity coupled with pragmatic learning execution. Thus, we provide a different kind of learning experience to help our customers reach their goals, with carefully curated, localized and hands-on learning. We work with our clients to develop a learning experience that is applied, addresses key learning criteria, focusses on regionally and entity critical issues, responding to the challenges the organisation is facing. In this way we distinguish ourselves from other training providers who use an outsourcing model to deliver their content. At FPI we don’t do that, we use our own staff and our own experience. We draw on our own track record, expertise and case studies, so your educational experience is relevant, meaningful and practical.
